From this point on a relationship swiftly developed between the two companies and it was based on trust and dependability. Eighteen months after the initial installation some 28 users are now making use of Woodford’s helpdesk. Problems are guaranteed to be resolved within 24 hours but in reality it is usually less. Everyone is on first name terms and the service provided is highly personal “and always delivered with a smile” added Jill.
“We have had a few technical issues, like any company. But the difference is we have been able to recover quickly quite simply because of the impeccable support. Our problems are important to Woodford; they are always treated as an emergency.”
The Website Project
Another example of providing a value for money investment was the design and build of the WB Baxter website.
Providing a website that a client cannot update themselves is not conducive to giving a value for money service. Set up the site, show them how to use it, provide support when they need it, but most of all let them get on and do what they want with it is a far more beneficial approach for the client. Fresh content is a must for search engine success and not having the frustration of waiting for someone else to update the text – and then paying for the work – is a huge benefit.
“Woodford set up our website then gave us some lessons on how to keep the pages up to date. I don’t use the system on daily basis so sometimes I need a refresher, but that is never a problem; I call, they help. The meter isn’t always running,” said Jill Fletcher.
